Eertijds "Katholieke Schoolkolonies", ontstaan in 1908 door aankoop van een neoclassicistisch herenhuis, dat voor deze bestemming werd ingericht. Beschadigd tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog, nadien hersteld. Afgebrand in 1927, wederopbouw onder huidige vorm; geleidelijke uitbreiding gepaard gaande met verbouwings- en vernieuwingswerken. Sedert 1979 kinderopvangcentrum "Kinderland". Centraal, neotraditioneel breedhuis van zeven traveeën en twee bouwlagen onder zadeldak (nok loodrecht op straat, mechanische pannen). Bakstenen lijstgevel op arduinen plint; rechthoekige vensters op arduinen lekdrempels, per travee uitgespaard in gevelhoge korfboognissen met aflijnende imitatienatuursteen; geometrische baksteenversiering boven vensters. Centraal deurrisaliet met deels getrapte topgevel. Ingangsportaal met rondboogdeur. Fries met opschrift "Katholieke Schoolkolonies"; houten kroonlijst op klossen. Aangrenzende latere schoolvleugels.
