Description

Voormalige melkerij, een coöperatieve zuivelfabriek, opgericht door de boeren van Peer en omgeving. In 1927, begin van de verwerking van de melk tot boter en kaas. Later opgeslorpt door Lilac-Zonhoven. Daarop leegstaand en vervallen. In 2001 en volgende, renovatie, herbestemming en uitbreiding met nieuwbouw, een project naar ontwerp van architect Freddy Peeters (Hasselt), namelijk bouwen van 8 koopwoningen in de melkerij, 16 huurwoningen rondom en 22 ondergrondse garages in opdracht van de Vlaamse huisvestingsmaatschappij Landwaarts cvba-Neerpelt.
