Het gehucht Botassart ligt 3 km ten noordwesten van Bouillon, aan een naar het noorden gerichte bocht van de Semois. Er staat een mooie Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekapel van 1624, met in de binnenmuren een tiental grafzerken van de heren van Botassart. Boven de deur staan twee wapenschilden van die heersers. Het 17de-eeuwse, knalgele kasteel ernaast - geel was de kleur van de heren - vond zijn oorsprong in een hoeve van 1619, die omstreeks 1865 vergroot werd.
