Das Dorf Botassart liegt 3 km nordwestlich von Bouillon, an einer Kurve der nach Norden ausgerichteten Semois. Es gibt eine schöne Notre-Dame-Kapelle aus dem Jahr 1624, mit einem Dutzend Grabsteinen der Herren von Botassart in den Innenwänden. Über der Tür befinden sich zwei Wappen dieser Herrscher. Das benachbarte, leuchtend gelbe Schloss aus dem 17. Jahrhundert - Gelb war die Farbe der Herren - hat seinen Ursprung in einem Bauernhof von 1619, der um 1865 erweitert wurde.
