Den lille landsby Botassart ligger 3 km nordvest for Bouillon, ved en nordvendt bøjning af Semois. Der står et smukt Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe kapel fra 1624, med omkring ti gravsten af herrerne fra Botassart indsat i væggene. Over døren står der to våbenskjold fra disse herskere. Det 17. århundrede, knaldgule slot ved siden af - gult var farven på herrerne - stammer fra en gård fra 1619, som blev udvidet omkring 1865.
