Op de New Belgicawerf bouwt vzw De Steenschuit aan een zeewaardige replica van de 'Belgica'. Aan boord van deze historische driemaster ondernam de belgische ontdekkingsreiziger Adrien De Gerlache in 1897 de eerste expeditie naar Antartica. Als bezoeker kan je het schip in aanbouw betreden. Zo word je ondergedompeld in de sfeer aan boord tijdens de allereerste zuidpoolexpeditie.
