Description

Het Croix de Corumont bevindt zich op een belangrijk kruispunt van wandelingen op 360m hoogte in La Roche.

Op deze plaats is er ook sprake van het kruis Georges Nollomont die in 1654 werd gedood door soldaten van Louis XIV. Het is niet duidelijk of het over hetzelfde kruis gaat maar er is geen ander kruis te zien.

Indien het geen kruis is ter nagedachtenis van iemand, dan spreekt men van een veldkruis. Gezien de Christusfiguur hier het hoofd niet op de rechter- maar op de linkerschouder legt spreekt men van een Verkeerde Lieve Heer.
