Recke is een plaats en gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen, gelegen in de Kreis Steinfurt. De gemeente Recke telt 11.394 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 53,62 km².
Recke ligt aan de noordkant van het Tecklenburger Land nabij de deels reeds in de geologische periode Carboon ontstane heuvelrug met de naam Ibbenbürener Bergplatte. Een groot deel van deze heuvelrug draagt de naam Schafberg; het westelijk deel wordt ook wel Dickenberg genoemd. Zuidelijke buurgemeente is Ibbenbüren .
