Het Hotel Elephant is een luxehotel in Weimar en maakt deel uit van het Autograph Collection merk van Marriott International. Tot het huis behoort ook het sinds 2003 onafgebroken met een Michelinster bekroonde restaurant Anna Amalia onder leiding van Marcello Fabbri en het restaurant Elephantenkeller, dat gespecialiseerd is in de Thuringse keuken.
Het werd in 1696 opgericht als herberg op de marktplaats door de prinselijke voedselproever Christian Andreas Barritig. Al snel werd de herberg omgebouwd tot een poststation en als accommodatie voor kooplieden en reizigers uitgebreid. Al in 1711 raadde de geograaf en universeel geleerde Johann Gottfried Gregorii alias Melissantes in zijn barokke regionale en reisgids 'Het nu florissant Thüringen' het overnachten in het Logierhaus Elephant aan.
