De Elsach is een goed 5 km lange en rechter zijrivier van de middelste Erms op de Schwäbische Alb in Baden-Württemberg.
De bronnen van de Elsach bevinden zich ten zuidwesten van Grabenstetten. Ze ontspringen als karstbronnen uit het systeem van de Falkensteiner grot. Alleen bij zware neerslag en een overeenkomstig hoog karstwaterniveau, evenals in een besneeuwde winter, is tegenwoordig het grotingang de bovenste bron van de Elsach. Het grootste deel van het water stroomt het grootste deel van het jaar op andere plaatsen weg, die nog steeds in verbinding staan met de Falkensteiner watergrot.
