De dagbouw Humboldt was een bruinkooldagbouw met een aangesloten brikettenfabriek bij Wallensen in het Weser-Leine-Bergland in het zuiden van Neder-Saksen.
De mijn lag in het Weenzerbruch bij Haidkopf tussen de plaatsen Wallensen en Thüste in het westen en het dorp Duingen en zijn wijken Weenzen en Fölziehausen in het oosten.
