De Brunsberg bij Sprötze in de Nedersaksische Landkreis Harburg is een ongeveer 129 m ü. NHN hoge heuvel van de Lohberge, het zuidelijke deel van de Zwarte Bergen, aan de noordwestelijke rand van de Lüneburger Heide. Vroeger bestond naast de term Lohberge de naam Brunsberge.
De naamgever van de Brunsberg is een tragische gebeurtenis, waarbij twee jonge herders, Bruns en Harms, tijdens het hoeden van de schapen op de Brunsberg uit verveling op het idee zijn gekomen om "een keer op te hangen te spelen" – wat Bruns met zijn leven moest betalen.
