De ruïne van kasteel Donaustauf is de ruïne van een hoogteburcht op een berguitloper van 424 m boven NN boven de Donau boven de markt Donaustauf in de Landkreis Regensburg in Beieren. De markt Donaustauf ontwikkelde zich in de middeleeuwen als burgerlijke nederzetting onder de bescherming van de machtige verdedigingswerken van het kasteel.
Sinds 6 april 1986 behoort de kasteelruïne tot de markt Donaustauf. Vanaf 1997 werd ze door de markt beveiligd en gerenoveerd.
