De Gobert is een tot 569 m ü. NHN hoge, rotsachtige en beboste Muschelkalk-heuvelrug van het natuurgebied „Thüringer Becken“ in de Werra-Meißner-Kreis en de Landkreis Eichsfeld op de grens van Hessen en Thüringen.
In het Hessische deel van de Gobert ligt de Hessische Schweiz bij Meinhard, een van de grootste bergstortgebieden van Duitsland, en in het Thüringse gebied het 870 km² grote natuurpark Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal.
