Het Gymnasium Zitadelle van de stad Jülich is het grootste gymnasium in het stadsgebied van Jülich. Het is bovendien de oudste school van de stad en gaat terug op een oprichting door hertog Wilhelm V. de Rijke van Jülich-Kleve-Berg.
Momenteel heeft de school ongeveer 1100 leerlingen en is verspreid over twee gebouwencomplexen, het hoofdgebouw in de citadel en het westgebouw met een aangebouwd uitbreiding, dat pas enkele jaren geleden is voltooid.
