Schloss Frens is een renaissancekasteel in de wijk Ichendorf van de stad Bergheim in de Noordrijn-Westfalen Rhein-Erft-Kreis.
Als stamzetel van een geslacht van Frens wordt het "Castrum Vrenze" al in 1263 genoemd. Aan het begin van de 14e eeuw moet deze familie wel zijn uitgestorven, want het kasteel kwam in bezit van de graven van Virneburg. In 1347 verkocht Ruprecht van Virneburg het huis aan zijn stiefzoon ridder Rutger van Raitz, wiens familie zich na de verwerving van het kasteel voortaan naar hun bezit Raitz van Frentz noemde. Bijna 400 jaar bleef het kasteel in het bezit van deze familie.
