Het Arabische Café in Düsseldorf was een langgerekt oosters aandoend gebouw met meerdere koepels en een minaret. Het gebouw werd in 1895 ontworpen door architect Peters op het voormalige spoortraject van de Bergisch-Märkische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft. Het gastronomische gebouw met zijn extravagante architectuur in "moorse stijl", gebruik makend van gekleurd geglazuurde stenen, stond op een langgerekt, maar slechts 8 m diep perceel. Het gaf de Graf-Adolf-Straße rond 1900 een oosters accent en maakte de invloed van de koloniale tijd duidelijk.
