De Rauhe Ebrach is een 47,3 km lange, westelijke en linkse zijrivier van de Regnitz in Noord-Beieren, in de onder-Franken gebieden Schweinfurt en Haßberge, en vervolgens in het boven-Franken gebied Bamberg.
Ze stroomt uit het Wustvieler Forst door een exclave van de gemeente Michelau in het Steigerwald en vervolgens in oost-zuid-oostelijke tot oostelijke richting door de gemeente Rauhenebrach, evenals door de gemeente Schönbrunn in het Steigerwald, waar ze ook het gemeentelose gebied Lindach aanraakt, door Markt Burgebrach en de gemeenten Frensdorf en Pettstadt, waar ze uiteindelijk de Regnitz bereikt.
