Het natuurreservaat Kahler Asten is een 48,6 hectare groot natuurreservaat op de Kahler Asten, gelegen in het Rothaargebergte. Het ligt in het stadsgebied van Winterberg, ten westen van de kern van Winterberg, in de Noordrijn-Westfalen Hochsauerlandkreis.
Het natuurreservaat Kahler Asten ligt in het natuurpark Sauerland-Rothaargebergte op de nabij de toppen gelegen hoogtes van de Kahler Asten. De westgrens is de stadsgrens van Winterberg naar Schmallenberg, en in het natuurreservaat ligt vlakbij de westgrens de bron van de Lenne. In het stadsgebied van Schmallenberg grenzen de natuurreservaten Kahler Asten en Oberes Lennetal aan elkaar.
