In het voorjaar van 1976 werd er uit leden van de Bulderner verenigingen de werkgroep „Ortsmittelpunkt Buldern“ gevormd om een spieker als huis voor de gemeenschap en de vereniging te bouwen. Deze besloot, onder deskundige begeleiding en wezenlijke ondersteuning van architect Siegfried Wrocklage, deze spieker van de familie Schulze Mönking in de buurtschap Bredenbeck bij Senden te verwerven en deze hier in het dorpscentrum, met hulp van de inwoners van Buldern, op het voormalige Vikariënperceel, dat door de stad Dülmen ter beschikking was gesteld, opnieuw op te bouwen.
