De protestants-lutherse monumentale kerk St. Nikolai bevindt zich in Borstel, een deelgemeente van de gemeente Jork in de Landkreis Stade in Nedersaksen. De kerkelijke gemeente behoort tot het kerkgenootschap Stade in het Sprengel Stade van de Protestantisch-Lutherse Landeskirche Hannover.
In 1221 wordt de parochie voor het eerst vermeld. De eerste kerk stond op de Hahnöfersand. De door stormvloeden verwoeste kerk werd in de 14e eeuw naar het vasteland verplaatst. In de jaren 1380 en 1393 verwoesten stormvloeden ook deze tweede kerk. Daarop werd een nieuwbouw op de huidige locatie opgericht.
