Palma, vroeger van Mallorca en ook wel colloquieel Stad genoemd, is een gemeente en een stad op het eiland Mallorca, de hoofdstad van de autonome gemeenschap van de Balearen.
Het oppervlak van de gemeente beslaat 208,63 km² en strekt zich uit tussen de Serra de na Burguesa, het Prat de Sant Jordi en de voet van de Serra de Tramuntana. De stad ligt in het midden van de baai van Palma, op ongeveer 13 meter hoogte boven zeeniveau. Verschillende beken doorkruisen het, zoals die van de Riera of de Torrent Gros, die allemaal uitmonden in de Middellandse Zee.
