Carucedo is een gemeente in de provincie León, in de autonome gemeenschap Castilië en León. Het maakt deel uit van de comarca El Bierzo en is een van de gemeenten waar Galicisch wordt gesproken. Het omvat de kernen Carucedo, Las Médulas, Lago de Carucedo, Campañana, Villarando, La Barosa en El Carril. In de gemeentelijke grenzen vindt men het gebied Les Médules, een Romeinse goudmijn die in 1997 door UNESCO tot werelderfgoed is verklaard en die ook delen van de gemeenten Borrenes en Puente de Domingo Flórez omvat.
