De plaza de la Villa is een stedelijk plein in het centrale Madrid, Spanje. Het plein, grenzend aan de Calle Mayor, herbergt enkele van de oudste gebouwen die nog aanwezig zijn in de stad.
In de oudheid stond het bekend als "Plaza de San Salvador", omdat het zich nabij de Kerk van San Salvador bevond, waar de primitieve gemeenteraad bijeenkwam. In 1463 verleende Hendrik IV van Castilië een marktdag op dinsdag in het plein. De Casa de los Lujanes, daterend uit de 15e eeuw, is het oudste burgerlijke gebouw in Madrid. De traditie stelt dat de toren de locatie was waar Franciscus I van Frankrijk gevangen werd gehouden na zijn gevangenneming in de Slag bij Pavia in 1525.
