Valdeviejas is een Spaanse plaats die behoort tot de gemeente Astorga, in de regio Maragatería, provincie León, autonome gemeenschap Castilla en León. Het is een van de nederzettingen van de Franse Camino de Santiago.
Dit dorp is bekend om de herkomstbenaming van de kikkererwt Pico Pardal, die deel uitmaakt van de beroemde cocido maragato en zonder welke het niet mogelijk is om te bereiden. Deze kikkererwt kenmerkt zich door zijn kleine formaat en een speciale vorm en smaak binnen zijn soort, waardoor het een textuur van hogere kwaliteit heeft dan de andere van zijn soort.
