Het stadhuis is gelegen op het Plaza de la Constitución, in de volksmond "El Paseíllo" genoemd.

Het werd gebouwd in 1952, op de plaats van het voormalige klooster van Santa Clara, waarvan verschillende grote doeken bewaard zijn gebleven in het hoofdgedeelte van het gebouw.

Op het plein geniet je van het mooie uitzicht dankzij de tuinen en de centrale fontein.
