Het Lac des Settons, omgeven door sparren- en lariksbossen, op 600 m hoogte, is een van de grote meren van de Morvan. Met een oppervlakte van 360 hectare, tegengehouden door een stenen dam, uniek in Frankrijk, een omgeving rijk aan bossen en rivieren, typische dorpjes. Paden en wegen lopen langs het meer, dat geschikt is voor zeilen en andere watersporten. Hier wordt ook gevist. De schoonheid van het terrein en de vele activiteiten maken dit meer tot een zeer populaire plek om in de zomer te verblijven. In de zomer worden ook rondleidingen over de dam aangeboden.
