De Chaume du Drumont, een belangrijke plaats voor het verzet, werd op 23 september 1944 platgebrand door de Duitsers. Het Corps Franc Pommiés vocht er eind november 1944. Een gedenkplaat herdenkt het offer van deze vrijwilligers. Op 1.200 m geeft een oriëntatietafel van de Franse Alpenclub uit 1891 uitleg over het prachtige ronde panorama. Een blik over de vallei laat Bussang zien, genesteld aan de kant van de Tête des Corbeaux. Het panorama op de Ballon d'Alsace, de Rossberg en de Grand Ballon is gewoonweg adembenemend. In het zuiden kun je op een heldere dag de Zwitserse Alpen zien liggen. Het panorama wordt afgewisseld door beboste toppen en verstedelijkte valleien.
