Lugar importante de la resistencia, la Chaume du Drumont fue incendiada por los alemanes el 23 de septiembre de 1944. El Corps Franc Pommiés luchó duramente allí a finales de noviembre de 1944. Una placa conmemora el sacrificio de estos voluntarios. A 1.200 m, una tabla de orientación del Club Alpino Francés de 1891 explica el maravilloso panorama circular. La mirada sobre el valle revela Bussang, enclavado en la ladera de la Tête des Corbeaux. El panorama del Ballon d'Alsace, el Rossberg y el Grand Ballon es sencillamente impresionante. Al sur, en un día muy claro, se pueden ver los Alpes suizos. El panorama alterna cumbres boscosas y valles urbanizados.
