Het grootste duin van Europa, met een hoogte van 109 meter, een lengte van 2,7 kilometer en een breedte van 500 meter, de Dune du Pilat, een juweel in de kroon van het erfgoed van de Testes, verdient volledig zijn titel van geklasseerde site, gehouden sinds 1978.
Met bijna 1,5 miljoen bezoekers per jaar is deze grote nationale site, die het hele jaar door toegankelijk is, de meest bezochte van Aquitaine.
Receptie met parkeerplaats, restaurant en winkels. Trappen ter plaatse van april tot begin november.
