Het koopmanshuis, gelegen in het hart van de oude stad, dateert uit de 18e eeuw. Het heeft een rijkelijk versierde roze zandstenen gevel die onlangs is gerenoveerd. Het huis werd genoemd naar de eerste eigenaar, wiens beroep wordt gesuggereerd door de hoeksculpturen. Al deze aanwijzingen wijzen erop dat de eigenaar van dit huis een handelaar in specerijen en exotische goederen was, die het hof van koning Stanislaus Leszczynski moest bevoorraden door ze van overzee in te voeren.
