Christian Fournié is een specialist in een vergeten type oud glas dat bekend staat als mousseline glas, en is een van de enige glasmakers in Frankrijk die de geschiedenis van dit type vensterglas traceert en het zo getrouw mogelijk reproduceert. Hij graveert delicate motieven en bewaart ze in zijn atelier in Beaufort voor gebruik door particulieren, architecten en professionals op het gebied van erfgoedbehoud.
Christian Fournié is een meester-ambachtsman. Zijn atelier werd opgericht in 1997 en houdt zich ook bezig met interieurdecoratie, architectuur, bewegwijzering en evenementencommunicatie met behulp van objecten.
Vandaag de dag stelt hij zijn atelier regelmatig open voor het publiek om zijn ambacht te delen en te ontdekken.
