De Buste van Louis Laurenti is prominent geplaatst op Place Ardoïno, pal voor het Hôtel de Ville (stadhuis) van Menton.
Het monument werd opgericht in 1919, kort na zijn overlijden. De buste is gemaakt door de Letse beeldhouwer Léopold Bernstamm, die zich in 1914 in Menton vestigde. Het staat op een sokkel met omringend groen, als centraal punt op de pleinachtige aanleg tussen Rue Honorine en het stadhuis. Het monument illustreert Mentons Belle Époque-ambitie onder Laurenti’s leiding.
Louis Laurenti (1841–1916) was burgemeester van Menton van 1885 tot 1896, en speelde een belangrijke rol in de stedelijke vernieuwing van die periode. Hij wordt beschreven als administrateur en weldoener van de stad, waarvan hij het aanzien en de infrastructuur versterkte.
