Barrow upon Soar is een groot dorp in het noorden van Leicestershire, in de Soar Valley tussen Leicester en Loughborough, met een bevolking van 5.856 bij de volkstelling van 2011.
Barrow ligt aan de oostelijke oever van de rivier de Soar, waar de rivier wordt samengevoegd met de Fishpool Brook. British Gypsum heeft een fabriek in Barrow, en de parochie grenst aan het Swithland Reservoir.
