Het treinstation Paddington is ook de plek die verbonden is met Paddington Bear. Paddington Bear is een fictief personage in de kinderliteratuur. Hij verscheen voor het eerst op 13 oktober 1958 en heeft in meer dan twintig boeken gestaan, geschreven door Michael Bond en geïllustreerd door Peggy Fortnum en andere kunstenaars. In 2014 werd er een live-action/geanimeerde familiefilm gemaakt gebaseerd op Paddington Bear door Michael Bond; de film heeft Ben Whishaw als de stem van het titelpersonage, samen met Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi en Nicole Kidman in live-action rollen.
