Rathvilly is een dorp in County Carlow, Ierland. Het dorp ligt aan de rivier de Slaney, nabij de grens met County Wicklow, 11 km van Tullow en 8 km van Baltinglass. Het ligt ook aan de nationale secundaire route N81. Rathvilly won de Ierse Tidy Towns Competitie in 1961, 1963 en 1968.
In het centrum van het dorp staat een standbeeld ter nagedachtenis aan Kevin Barry, een 18-jarige die werd geëxecuteerd voor zijn rol in de Ierse Oorlog van Onafhankelijkheid op 1 november 1920. Hoewel hij uit Dublin kwam, had Barry lokale familie en had hij de nationale school in Rathvilly bezocht.
