De weg is 36 kilometer lang en begint aan de N11 in Kilmacanogue. Vervolgens gaat de weg door de Wicklow Mountains langs de dorpen Killough, Sraghmore, Roundwood, Annamoe en Laragh. Dan volgt de weg langs de oever van de Avonmore om ten slotte in Rathdrum aan te sluiten op de R752.
