Het Rham-plateau in Luxemburg wordt aan drie zijden omgeven door de Alzette. Het was al vroeg bewoond. Sinds de bouw van de derde ringmuur in de 15e eeuw is het opgenomen in de vesting Luxemburg.
Onder Franse heerschappij liet Vauban hier aan het einde van de 17e eeuw vijf militaire kazernes bouwen. Sinds het einde van de 19e eeuw zijn in deze gebouwen sociale voorzieningen ondergebracht. Sinds enkele jaren dient het Rham-plateau als rusthuis.
