Het Ithaka Science Center was een wetenschappelijk centrum en museum in de vorm van een stichting met educatieve doeleinden in het Venlose stadsdeel Tegelen in de provincie Limburg, en had haar onderkomen in het raadhuis van de voormalig zelfstandige gemeente.Het ISC wilde de inwoners van Noord- en Midden-Limburg, Zuidoost-Brabant en bezoekers uit het Duitse grensgebied kennis laten maken met de wetenschappelijke en technologische ontwikkelingen van de moderne tijd. Hiervoor maakte zij niet alleen gebruik van boeken en driedimensionale beelden, maar ook van multimedia, internet, holografie en zelfs holografische projectie.
