Mwórveld Distillery

During one of his many trips through Ireland, Ger Arts visited a small-scale whiskey distillery and this visit sparked his interest in distilling. He decided to learn the trade and in 2017 he started his own production of spirits and whiskey.
In Moorveld, in the municipality of Meerssen, a beautiful location has been found in the monumental Moorveldshof farm. At the moment Mwórveld Distillery produces Whiskey, Gin, Kaore, Vodka and Eau de Vie, such as a tasteful plum eau de vie.
Mwórveld Distillery wants to contribute to refining the taste palette of spirits. Tasteful distillates lead to conscious consumption, where quality takes precedence over quantity.
The flavors are created through the use of high-quality raw materials, a traditional distillation process and aging in carefully selected wooden barrels.
Raw materials from the region are used in the distillery and maximum attention is paid to the reuse of residual products. The taste is paramount in all products: full, rich and soft.
The Kaore 3 grain gin won a gold medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in August 2020. You can read the jury report on the website.
The Whiskey inspired by Irish tradition has had its release on April 25, 2021. A second batch was released in late September 2021, the third in May 2022.
The tasting room has been expanded to twenty-three seats.
