De kerk van Vierlingsbeek heeft een vrijstaande toren, een zogenaamde campanile. Sinds het jaar 1000 staat er al een stenen kerk in Vierlingsbeek. De kerk werd in 1944 helaas geheel verwoest. De kerk heeft zijn naam te danken aan H. Laurentius. Uit het feit dat de kerk was toegewijd aan Laurentius valt voorzichtig af te leiden dat het dorp in de zevende eeuw al een kerk rijk was; veel oude Laurentiuskerken dateren uit die tijd.
Deze locatie is onderdeel van de fietsroute Het Duvelsklökske.
