At junction 13 we leave the towpath towards junction 47. We cycle here along the busy Woluwelaan. In 2007, the Flemish Government, in consultation with the city of Vilvoorde, built a first bridge for vulnerable road users over the R22-Woluwelaan near the Schoewever.
This made the connection between the Houtem district and the center of Vilvoorde a lot safer for cyclists and pedestrians, especially for school-age young people.
