Man könnte es buchstäblich einen Wasserturm nennen. Denn das ist es, was dieser Kirchturm aus dem 14. Jahrhundert von Graun infolge des Damms wurde, der hier von 1948 bis 1950 gebaut wurde. Infolgedessen wurde das ursprüngliche Dorf Graun und ein großer Teil von Reschen überflutet. 163 Häuser wurden abgerissen und 523 Hektar Land wurden überflutet. Heute ist der Kirchturm von Alt-Graun, das alte Dorfzentrum von Graun, das über die Wasseroberfläche ragt, eine Erinnerung an das ehemalige Dorf.
