From the start in Rüthen to Büren it goes downhill at first. After that, it's time to pedal hard until Bad Wünnenberg, because it goes steadily uphill.
The idyllically situated Aabach reservoir is circled and immediately followed by a steep climb to Bleiwäsche. On the next section of the tour to Alme, where the source of the river of the same name is located, it goes downhill again. One last climb and the round ends in Rüthen.
