Le Katharinenstift est une maison de retraite située dans le village d’Astenet, qui appartient à la commune belge de Lontzen, situé sur Nierstraße.
Le complexe a été fondé en 1888 grâce aux dons de l’entrepreneur d’Aix-la-Chapelle Gerhard Rehm et de son épouse Katharina Rehm, qui a donné son nom à la fondation. Katharina a été soignée par les Augustins dans un hôpital de Neuss en raison d’une maladie grave. Elle mourut en 1887, après avoir légué une partie de ses biens aux sœurs. Son mari créa une fondation avec cet argent, qui prévoyait la construction de ladite maison, qui serait gérée par lesdits Augustins.
