Nideggen Castle, built in the 12th century, has a turbulent past. Numerous wars and battles have repeatedly damaged or destroyed the castle, most recently during World War II. Parts of the castle were later rebuilt (for example, the Romantic parish church). From the keep platform, as well as from the high windows of the Knight's Hall and the Ladies' Erker, the castle offers a unique panoramic view.
Today, Restaurant Kaiserblick offers refined cuisine and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The use of fresh, seasonal ingredients is paramount.
