The top of the Hordtberg is easily recognizable by two transmission masts. Both entrances to the top are fairly quiet in terms of traffic. The western side winds its way up through a forest, the eastern side is more open in character. At the summit you have a wonderful view of the Ruhr area and the Hattingen Hügelland (Elfringhauser Schweiz).
