Stedet Löpten med ca. 26,13 km² og 329 indbyggere er en del af kommunen Groß Köris i Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald i Brandenburg.
Den del af kommunen ligger sydøst for centrum og der syd for bydelen Klein Köris. Nordøst ligger boligområdet Neubrück. I urets retning følger bydelen Hermsdorf fra kommunen Münchehofe, Märkisch Buchholz og Halbe mod syd og – adskilt geografisk af motorvej A13 – byen Teupitz. I den østlige del af området løber Bundesstraße 179 i nord-syd-retning. Til Löpten hører boligområderne Forsthaus Löpten, Hammer, Löpten-Nord og Löpten-Süd. Mod nord grænser det landskabsfredede område Siebsluch op til Löpten.
