Oprindeligt var dette slot en befæstet gård, der var afhængig af herligheden af Male. Et nyt slot i neo-gotisk stil blev bygget i 1913-1929 kort afstand fra den stadig eksisterende gård. I 1956 blev der oprettet et Center for Europæisk og International Uddannelse. I den nærmeste fremtid åbner der en restaurant/tearoom i slottet. Du kan også gratis besøge slotets område med hjemmehave og læringssti. Det meget fredeligt beliggende område er omgivet af smukke alléer og vidtstrakte skove, hvor du kan cykle eller gå i fuld ro.
