Möhnesee er en reservoirsø i den tyske delstat Nordrhein-Westfalen, skabt ved bygningen af en dæmning i perioden 1908-13 i Möhne. Reservoirsøen ligger i kommunen Möhnesee i distriktet Soest.
Den vigtigste grund til byggeriet var vandforsyningen. Men også energibehovet fra den fremspirende industri i Ruhr-området spillede en stor rolle. Der blev monteret to Kaplanturbiner til elproduktion. Der står i 2018 stadig to turbiner opstillet med en samlet kapacitet på 7 megawatt. Den årlige elproduktion ligger omkring 13 millioner kilowatt-timer.
